About the suburb Mount Nasura

Mount Nasura occupies hilly terrain bounded on the north by the Brookton Highway and Hill Street, west by Paterson Road, south-west by Canns and Carradine Roads, south by property boundaries on the north side of the Neerigin Brook, and east by the Albany Highway. With the exception of the Armadale Kelmscott District Memorial Hospital, the suburb is primarily residential.

This hilly suburb in the City of Armadale derives its name from "Derrynasura", a vineyard established in the area in 1897. It comprised 280 acres with cellars especially excavated into the hillside. The suburb name was officially adopted in 1996, and it was formerly part of Armadale and Kelmscott suburbs.
